Weathering Tint
Bebbingtons, in association with DBA, have developed a ‘Weathering Tint’ for the DIY enthusiast. This gives anyone the ability to ‘tone down and age’ existing masonry and stone products – it is easy to use and comes in handy 1 litre robust containers. These are available at most good Builders Merchants (please enquire for stockists).
Project Tinting
Project tinting involves visiting a site and carrying out tinting work to the existing building, whether constructed of Facing Brick or Walling Stone. This work also often involves tinting Mortar joints where a repair has been made to an elevation and the mortar used for the repair is of a different colour to the original.
The expertise involved with Project Tinting has been put to use on many prestigious projects such as : Warwick Castle, Aintree Racecourse, JJB Football Stadium and Old Trafford Cricket Ground, and has also successfully tinted a wall at “The Violin Factory” in a sensitive Conservation Area, to the satisfaction of the Local Authority and was featured on Channel Fours “Grand Designs”.
